What a wonderful holiday and such a beautiful villa! We were very excited by the photos on the website, so when we arrived we felt as if we had visited before! The photos and the description were perfect. Maria met us as arranged in Markopoulo and kindly took us on a short tour of the local area which was so helpful! When we arrived at the villa we received a very warm welcome from Maria's lovely family who greeted us at the gate. As they lead us down the path, we were stunned by the beautiful garden beyond; the stylish pavilion by the fabulous pool was breath taking and the subtle music playing in the background added to the ambiance. The villa stood at the bottom of the garden between the palm trees with an incredible backdrop of open fields, blue sky and even a castle tower! What could have been more perfect?! It was very touching as Maria showed us around her beautiful house. She informed us of all the things we needed to know and insisted we knock on their door if we needed anything at all, including advice on trips we would like to take, before leaving us to settle in and enjoy the welcoming spread she had so thoughtfully provided. The villa was so tastefully decorated and furnished yet comfortable and practical. We could not think of anything we didn't have available. The provision of water coolers both indoors and by the poolside was a really lovely bonus and very much appreciated! Within an hour we were in the pool and continued to spend many more hours there during our stay. The view of the pool at night, even when we were inside, was just as beautiful too. A great deal of thought had been put into giving the best possible holiday experience to Maria's guests. Harry and Dino, Maria's parents, were so hospitable and helpful especially with their advise on places to visit and how to get there. Although we did in fact spend a great deal of time relaxing at 'HOME' we did enjoy exploring the local area and further afield. Athens is a truly wonderful city and there are so many jewels in its crown! Being animal lovers we were delighted to meet their handsome hounds and feline friends. The cleanliness of the whole villa, gardens and pool was immaculate and the lovely cleaning lady was also very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately our stay came to an end all too quickly but we have returned home refreshed and with many photos (2000!) of a wonderful holiday which we highly recommend and to which we hope to return! Thank you Maria, Harry and Dino for your amazing hospitality!

We stayed in the villa of Maria and her mother for a few days in August. And it was perfect! The house was very clean and spacious. From every window you have beautiful views. In the kitchen was everything uou needed. The bedrooms are very big and have good beds. Our baby boy could even sleep in a beautiful baby room of Maria's son. Outside we enjoyed the very big and clean pool and the extra "outside room" to have diner and to stay the very nice evenings. The surrounding isn't what you would expect from a property so near the airport. It was not industial at all, but very rural with beautiful fig trees and hills. From the villa and the garden you have amazing views around the area. Every day we received from Maria fresh figs ans other fruits. When we arrived she already did some groceries for breakfast and ordered some pizza and salad's for us. From the airport it's only a 20 minutes drive to the villa, which is very convienient after a long flight. If you need any advice to visit the area or Athens, Maria is very helpful to advice or to arrange something for you. We were with 4 adults and 2 children and had a very perfect stay. We were very sorry that we had to leave after 4 days ;-) Thanks for making this a beautiful vacation! Very kind regards from the Netherlands.

The villa is really beautiful with all equipment you need, nothing is missing.... Maria is just so nice and very welcoming! We thank her again for everything. Renting Villa Vavrona is for sure having a very good holiday! Very big swimming pool and private patio, big bedrooms.... Thank you again!
